OFFSHORE GRID RESILIENCY

The enabling infrastructure for 100% renewable islands.

Mariana builds the offshore infrastructure that lets island grids finally retire diesel — and clears the path for floating offshore wind at scale.

01 · What We Do

A purpose-built offshore machine for island grid stability and black start.

Mariana provides reactive power, physical inertia, fault current, and autonomous black start as a dedicated offshore asset — the physical grid services that inverter-based capacity cannot deliver, and that every non-interconnected island needs to reach 100% renewable penetration.

02 · Target Customers

Engineered for the non-interconnected islands around the globe.

~20 qualifying EU non-interconnected islands today. 400+ qualifying islands globally. A 250+ GW floating offshore wind pipeline — all needing the same physical services no inverter-based system can deliver. Starting with Europe, we target:

Each Mariana deployment also establishes the stability-hardened grid socket that future floating offshore wind arrays will need at the same island.
